PTA, Pupils Honor Balabag Elem. School Teachers

In a simple, austere afternoon program, 16 teachers and a school principal of Balabag Elem. School were recognized by a thoughtful PTA officers and school children as their own unique, momentous way of expressing themselves on how grateful they are on this teachers' day.

Mrs. Fleurdeliz R. Ballente, the sister of PTA President Mrs. Mary Jane R. Ramo hosted 1-hour special program for the teachers.

"A good teacher has been defined as an individual who can understand those who are not very good at explaining and explain to those who are not very good in understanding," said Ballente as the program started.

She told that this humble program that the PTA and the pupils led by SPG prepared a simple tribute to the efforts of their beloved teachers of the school.

SPG President's Message

Paul Atienza, School Pupil Government President said in local dialect:

"Indi tanan nga super heroes may suksuk nga kapa, iban sa ila ara sa eskwelahan nagahimo sang mga kamaayuhan nga kis-a indi natun ma-appreciate... ang aton mga MAESTRA KAG MAESTRO...

"Daku gid ang akun nga pasalamat sa ini nga institusyon kag sa mga teachers nga ari diri kay sila ang nagbulig kag nag-guide sa akon sa mga tion nga wala ang akun ginikanan.

"Ma'am... Sir... daku gid ang kabalaslan ko sa inuyo... haling sa mga bayo nga ginagamit ko sa mga contest ginaprovide gid ninyo asta sa mga speech kag mga assignments ko ara gid kamu para sa pagtudlo sa akon...

Indi lipod sa inyo ang ginhalinan ko... naghalin ako sa pigado nga pamilya kag haluson gani mahatag ni mama ang akon kinahanglanon tungod sang ginabatyag ni mama daw halos indi na gani sya maka attend sang mga activities ko... pero ara kamo sa pagsalo kag pag-upod sa akon... kamu ang nagtindog sa akon bilang iloy kag amay ko...

Kan Ma'am Juvy... salamat sa pagsalig sa akon kag pagsuporta sa akon... Kay Ma'am Elsa nga asta sa katapusan sang serbisyo ya wala gid nagbaya sa Balabab Elem. School. Sa mga laygay ni Ma'am Sarah ako gid nanuto... Sa tanan ko nga maestra kag maestro. Ma'am Gerose, Ma'am Mahal, Ma'am Nonalie, Ma'am Jocelyn, Ma'am Rima, Ma'am Roselyn, Ma'am Angelica, Ma'am Mailyn... Sir Mike, Sir Erwin, Sir Raffy kag Sir Gilbor. Madamo gid nga salamat... Sa paglambot ko sang akon ambisyon ara gid kamu gaupod sa akon... indi ko gid malimtan nga ang isa ka bata nga pareho ko inyo ginbaton... gindtudluan... ginpalangga kag ginkabig nga inyo...

Kun papili-on ko liwat sang mga manunudlo kag eskwelahan, indi ko gid kamo pagbaylo.... Gasaludo gid ako sa inyo...


HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY..."

Honored Teachers

The following pair/group teachers who have been recognized by the PTA officers and pupils, and received their respective token of gratitude were as follows:

Mrs. Brenda Calumbiran, Prep teacher; Miss Mahal Demabildo and Miss Gerose Bedlan, Grade 1 teachers received a small handy paper token from Mrs. Joema Martizano.

Mrs. Jocelyn Tolosa and Mrs. Annabelle Historiador, Grade 2 teachers received a token from Mrs. Sally Flores Duenas.

Mrs. Elsa Lisaca, Mrs. Angelica Tuala, and Mrs. Rima Jane Cadena, Grade 3 teachers accepted a token given by Mrs. Lenie Sapio, PTA vice President.

Mr. Mike Pabalate and Mrs. Roselyn Pabalate, Grade 4 teachers were tendered a token from Mrs. Rubilyn Guerero.

Mrs. Sarah Adenix and Ms. Ma. Juvy Tadlan, Grade 5 teachers received it from Ms. Andrea Miguel.

Mrs. Mailyn Miguel and Miss Nonalie Vargas, Grade 6 teachers received it from Ms. Jae Billion.

Mr. Raffy Medes, relief teacher received a token from SPG President Atienza. Mr. Jose Erwin Navio, another relief teacher got his token from Mrs. Mariz Miguel.

And Mr. Gilbor I. Camporazo, the school principal accepted the token from Mrs. Fleudeliz R. Ballente.

Likewise, the pupils of the respective teachers offered them bunches of flowers which were picked from the school garden. At least they did it in their most sincerest way of thanking their teachers in this special day of all teachers, Teachers' Day.

Teacher's and School Head's Response

School faculty President, Ms. Tadlan briefly thanked the parents, the children and everyone who made the simple program of honoring the teachers from the bottom of their hearts.

The school principal before giving his closing remarks, texted the PTA President, Mrs. Mary Jane R. Ramo expressing his gratefulness for a successful teachers' day celebration conducted by her officers. Mrs. Ramo wasn't able to attend for she had an important task to do in the City Health as a widwife.

The school principal couldn't find an appropriate word to express his gratitude, except he just simply said, thank you, thank you, and thank you. Then he implored the Divine Providence to bless the PTA officers, the parents that they may be blessed in due time for all their goodness, sacrifice they made through their time, efforts and talents just let the teachers feel how important they are for their children's education, big or small.
